SK-100AR laboratory ammonia nitrogen analyzer ,one uses Nessler's reagent spectrophotometric method.

SK-100 series laboratory ammonia nitrogen analyzer is the production of new - generation of automatic ammonia nitrogen analysis instrument, witch is researched and developed by our company based on the state environmental protection department -- ammonia test items standard analysis method HJ 535-2009 « water quality -- Determination of ammonia-nitrogen Nessler's reagent spectrophoto metric method » and the principle of flow injection analysis technology, applicable to the environmental monitoring, steel, oil, chemical, health and epidemic prevention, irrigation works, agriculture, aquaculture, wastewater treatment, water quality control such as the need for ammonia nitrogen in water by the industry and sector analysis.

The basic principle of the method is: by mercuric iodide ( or two mercuric chloride ) with potassium iodide alkaline solution preparation of Nessler's reagent in the presence of [HgI4]2- as chromophores, and NH4+ complex to form the maximum absorption wavelength in 420nm yellow brown complexes.

Within a certain range of concentration, the fluid under test at the appropriate wavelength and absorbance of the complexes formed by linear positive correlation between the number of, therefore, can be determined by colorimetric measurement of NH4+ content in solution. The apparatus configured a unique distillation device, can water the ammonia nitrogen in alkaline conditions of heating decomposition, the free NH3 is water vapor carrying the sample matrix and separation of the impurities, then enter the measurement system, in accordance with Nessler's reagent spectrophoto metric method for determination of the test principle.
